Parenting is probably the most important responsibility and challenge we can face. While the rewards are limitless, the uncertainty and insecurity we experience is inevitable. Good parents will always ask? "Am I doing the right thing?"

Why does virtually every professional athlete have a coach? After all, the athlete may be as or even more skilled than the coach. Why does the boxer have a corner man, perhaps someone not nearly as strong or quick as the boxer?

The answer lies in the fact that the coach or corner man can see what the althete cannot - that is, the Whole Picture. The althete is in the middle of the heated action and cannot have the perpective of an expert looking at the whole picture from the outside.

In the same way, every good parent could use the input of a trained and knowlegable expert.
